Hello
I have a client who has created a new user on his novell 3.12 server. The user was placed in multiple groups, the user can login with out any problems, but no print Q's are captured.
I checked the system login script for IF STATEMENTS CONTAINING #CAPTURE thinking if
I remove the # sign this would allow for Q capture
but I found none.
Note existing user can login and capture all
needed Q's
I have been away from novell for will and I am sure there is a simple fix.
Thanks for help

It looks like that the CAPTURE statement is not getting set for the user due to something with the login scripts. I know that sounds like a DUH but bear with me. I think that there is an order of processing when it comes to login scripts. Does the user have a user or default login script or does he/she only fall through the system login script? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the loading order is system script then user or default script. You might want to check to see if there is something in the user or default login script which is overriding what you setup in the system login script. I hope I haven't muddied the waters even more for you. Let me know if this worked for you. I just know that login scripts have tripped me up more than once. Even though they are really pretty simple.
