Comment: We were using ArcServe 6.1 to backup to a Compaq 20/40, the server is running Novell 3.12. We recently changed the tape drive to a HP SureStore 80. We also changed the master server. We are now having trouble getting the backup to work with the new server and the tape drive using the same O/S and Arcvserve. Does anyone have any clues.

Reply: (edit)arcserve will have different drivers for the new tape drive, and if the new server has a different scsi card, you will have to have new arcserver drivers for that, too.
