friends i am new to novel so help me we are running all workstaions on windows network recently we got old netware server ver 3.1 for our printer we tried connect after enabled the ipx protocol in our work station and set auto detect but we can,t see the server in the novel netware network as i told you i am new on this can any one explain how to connect this server from my win2k workstation ( i mean from begining)

You need to install a Novell client on your Win2K workstation and provide login accounts on the 3.1 server.
It seems a pointless exercise to spend such effort simply to provide a networked printer.

You can just install the MS client for Netware on your w2k workstations, just install the bindery version (for netware 3) and login using a valid user name and password. Thats it !
