Novel client password bypass

I bought a retired laptop (the thinkpad 560X) for schoolwork. It prompts me for a password and username, and i cannot bypass it. please help, with any suggestions. i will provide any other info needed. Thanks in advance.

If there is installed a Novell Client, you should see a checkbox for login to Windows only. Please send a reply, if you solved the problem !!!
