when I installed Novell client 4.91 on a Gateway Tablet with Windows XP tablet edition I cannot browse to the Tree or shall I say when I browse it is blank but can surf the internet, I have installed Novell and WIndows XP 1,000's of times and this is the first on a tablet. I read that this is compatible but not sure why it doesn't work on the tablet but does on laptops, Desktops so it must be something wuth the tablet OS but I'm not sure what it is. Any help would be appreciated

as far as i know Windows XP Tablet edition is based upon XP Pro, so should work. I would try just reinstalling the client, and then if still problems, use a network packet sniffer to find out more. Not sure if this is your problem or not, but fyi...there is a 491sp2c inherited rights issue with NetWare 5.1 where rights do not flow correctly. Browsing the tree sounds like it also may be a Novell SLP issue. Just another stupid saying...

I found it!! after I loaded the OS I loaded the symantec antivirus that came with it and something in that was blocking the tree, so I unistalled it and reinstalled our corporate version and the tree is here.
