Novel 3.1 volume unmount

Novel 3.1 volume did not mount. I give load vrepir command. It says primary fat faild/Primary fat could not be read. Please help me

It's been a long time since I worked with Netware 3.x. I know you said that your volume did not mount, but just to be sure comment out the mount statement in the autoexec.ncf. Once you are sure then run VRepair. Run it more than one time. I have had problems with volumes before when I had to run VRepair numerous times to correct the problem. If VRepair does not fix your problem you might just have a bad HDD. Let me know if this helps with your problem. If I get time I will blow the dust off my Netware 3.x notes and see if I have anything in there that might help.
