Comment: We are rolling out fresh new images for all workstations on our network. We will be using a combination of NT4 and W2K. We will be upgrading our servers from NetWare 5 to NetWare 6. Previously, the workstations have all been NT4 boxes with Novell Client versions 4.6 - 4.83. I have noticed that the latest version of the Novell Client (4.9 SP2) includes custom install options for NICI, NMAS and NetIdentity. On none of the old images have NICI, NMAS or NetIdentity been installed as a separate item from the client itself. Were they automatically included with the Client installation? I do not see any reference to them in the Client documentation or in the settings. I know we do not need NMAS, but I am not sure as to whether or not we need NICI or NetIdentity. Assuming that we are not going to be making any changes to the network, other than upgrading the servers and installing the latest software on the Workstations, will it break anything to not include these items? -Patrick
