Hi All, I was given the task of becoming "the" novell guy in my office. I was sent to a class and have been playing around enough to have a general idea about things.
As I have no one to ask here, can you give me ideas for partition sizes?
I know that during the install Novell 5.1 requires at least 50 mb Dos partition. What have you used?

I am a bit concerned about your question. You aren't planning on reinstalling the server are you? I do a 125meg dos partition due to putting some utilities there but 50 is fine. In dealing with servers mb are nothing. We talk in terms of gig. After that its as large as possible for Vol1 and 3-4gig for sys.

No, I'm not looking to reinstall, just looking for some standards/practical field knowledge.
I made the Dos partition 300 mb, 4gb for sys, 36 gb for Vol 1.
