Not Sure if this is Netware related or not. I have a user who prints to a network printer When the user prints power point files, he receives a "printer not responding.." error after reaching a spool file size of about 5 megs. What is spooled prints after he cancels out of the job. When I log into the users computer (or another user logs in )we have no problem printing this file. And both I and the users have admin rights. We are running W2k on the desktop. I have even duplicated the problem on other W2k machines. Whatzzzz upppp ? Is there sometype of user restriction at the netware account level? I can not seem to locate any such setting. Should I remove the account and recreate it ?? Any suggestion is appreccciiaated ....

hi michael,
got a similar pb with novell and nt wks under zenworks policy. The user wasn't printing with excel and access. The printer was on lpt1.The err msg was "cannot find printer". I gave all the rights to that user in question. Finally the admin right works, but that should not b like this. Check the effective rights with novell of that user. Hope this help....
