I had an "Win XP Pro Eng." with a 10Mb network board, and client 4.83SP2 working fine in a Netware 4.11 server. I formated the disk and added a second network board (for ADSL access). Now I have "Win XP Pro pt", two network boards and client 4.9. I can login to the server, but I can't see the network drives. by all indications you have exceeded your license count for the server. How many workstations and how many licenses?

The server is Small Business NetWare4.x (5 users). I can login in the XP Workstation whith no problems if I use one of the users(FERNANDA), all the other 4 have the same problem (none is admin). Using the NEAT32 App, is seams that all the users have the same settings, in the Novell+Netware SB+420 is says, 5 licenses installed and 8 being used, it has "CN=FERNANDA.0=GESTAO" and "CN=SOTAO.0=GESTAO" twice and "CN=admin.0=GESTAO","CN=BALCAO.0=GESTAO""CN=ARMAZEM.0=GESTAO""CN=LOJA.0=GESTAO" once.
