Netware Login - XP

Comment:
I have a netware client 4.83 on my XP laptop to log into Netware 4.2 in my office. But when the laptop is not connected to the network cable, the novell login window still appears (unlike my previous laptop running Win98). Is there any way that the novell login window does not appear if it detects that cable is unplugged?

Because, like NT/2000, the Novell client hooks itself into the Winlogon code and you cannot override it. Simply choose "Workstation Only" and ensure you are logging into the Local Machine on the Windows tab"

You can change the gena, so the Microsoft logon appears instead of the Netware logon
