I currently have a Netware 6.0 server that will not startup without the CD in the server. Does anyone know what is wrong or how to change the startup so I don't have to keep the cd in.

Thanks

Sorry for my question but did you have a dos partition?
Did your autoexec.bat file contains a line:
c:\nwserver\server.exe

Yes, I due have c:\nwserver\server.exe in my autoexec.bat. That is why I have no idea why the server will not startup on it's own without the cd.

What about the dos partition? Did the server boot to dos?
Check if files & buffers in c:\config.sys are set to 50.
Try booting into dos from a floppy disket and than switch into c:\nwserver and type server.exe
If the server boots you have a problem with you dos files.
