Hi all:
Im really have a kind of mission imposible, here is the situation.

1. I have a old netware 286 system running in my company wich we will migrate to
Windows 2000 Server, but we need the data that hold that server for make a new database
in Visual Basic. This machine is standalone, no networked with the modern net that we have
actually.

2. I put the old harddisk from the 486 in a new one box.
Im just downloaded Captain Nemo to try the recover of this data, this software do
not recognize the netware 286. So my next move was download the Netware 6 and
check if the new one OS could read old volumes from another harddisk, until now I veen
trying without any result. Of course, I dont have any background in Novell, Im work in
a mix network of Unix, MacOS, Windows (all), and any trick that I know in unix or any other
OS's doesnt work for me.

3. Can anyone tell me if this is really a "imposible mission" or I have a chance to transfer the
old data to a new one system? Well I hope.

Get one new disk (6GB) make this disk 1st, install 286 disk as 2nd, download install guide, read docs.
Learn Netware is not easy :-(
BTW: Iistall Netware on 1st disk only!!!!!

No easy route.

You will have update novell 286 to 4.x and then update 4.x to 6.
