Hi,
I have an old Netware 4.11 server which after re-booting has tried to repair a problem on its hard disk. It did it, but then now it is stuck in a loop where it repeatedly keeps trying to load the same start-up nlms. Anyone know how to stop this ? All help MUCH appreciated

If the server volume SYS in spanned over more than 1 disk than try to follow the case described in http://support.novell.com/cgi-bin/search/searchtid.cgi?/2911543.htm
If not start the server manually by entering the command server -na at the C:\>NWSERVER prompt. This mean that the server will start without executing his autoexec.ncf file but all the drivers in the startup.ncf file will be executed. Try to load each nlm but don't mount any volume. Make a vrepair to repair any problem at the SYS volume and after that mount the SYS volume. If everything is OK than make a purge to all the deleted file to clear more room in this volume.
