Netware 4.11 license

I got an unopened Netware 4.11 server upgrade for 25 users. Can it be installed on my 4.20 server?. I would appreciate your help,

I dont think so. If it is an upgrade, it usually requires a license number in order for the license to be 'activated'.
If these licenses are truly 'extra' as it sounds, then they cannot be activated unless you have an older seriel number.
Also, I know 5.0 licenses cant be used in 5.1 and I think it is the same with 4.11 and 4.2

Unfortunately you must use only NW4.2 licenses on 4.2 server. It's truth!

Dears JP and VADIM, Thanks for your help. Anyway I got both licenses numbers, the original for the 4.20 server and the one for the upgrade.
