there is no partion by name rlg
it happened after installing y2kpatch of novell netware 4.10

Could RLG be the name of your NDS tree? If so , and you have no additional NDS partitions, then this is the correct name of the [root] partition that the server lives in.

Sounds like your server suffers from a wondering clock. After installing the patch, you may have rebooted the server. If this is the case, the system time prior to the shutdown may have been ahead of the time when you rebooted - lots of possible reasons - (the DOS clock does not run whilst the server is up). You probably need to shut the server down, carry out a hard reset, adjust the system clock and then bring the server up - but make sure that it is brought back up at a time that is after the time that the server thought it went down at.

Goto the server console,

LOAD DSREPAIR

then goto, Advanced options, and select Replica and Partition operations, and then select the appropriate, probably [Root].

Then Repair time stamps, and declair new epoch

Exit, and ur done!
