We recently installed a network of 5 win98 machines to a netware 4.1 server (SBE)
A freind set up netware for printer and file acess but was not sure how to set up email and internet access - he partially installed groupwise and that's were were at right now.We wanted the server to handle email from the workstations outlook express and to enable internet access via explorer.
The complication is that we would also preferred email collection from any machine (roaming profiles or hot desktops??)We have also been told that we do not require groupwise - is this true - and how do we completely remove it?? - we have uninstalled from the workstations but need to remove from the server.
Any answers would be greatly appreciated

Sounds to me that you still need GW.
The installation guides for GW and internet access can be found at www.novell.com/documentation

If you are planning to have more internal messages than Internet mail and you plan to host the mail server on your server, then you need GW running on your server.
If you are planning to have an ISP give you email accounts for each of you, then you just need to configure the Internet connector on NWSBS and enable dynamic NAT (Network Address Translation) to have the server dial out to the Internet as a user tries to browser the Internet or check mail.
