I have a single 29160 SCSI card w/ 2 37 gig Ultra 320 drives. Netware reports the following under mirroring (before creating the mirrored set):
In Sync - Netware Partition #2 on Device #0
In Sync - Netware Partition #3 on Device #1Partition #2 contains the data, so I hit enter on partition #2 and select partition #3 from the list.
After creating the mirrored set, Netware reports the following:
In Sync - Netware Partition #2 on Device #0
Out of Sync - Netware Partition #3 on Device #1I checked the console and it displays the message "Remirroring partition #2"
Everything mentioned above appears to be normal and mirroring is working correctly. The problem is that 12 hours have passed since creating the mirrored set and they still aren't mirrored. I have no workstation logged into the server, so I would expect the mirroring to complete quickly -- especially since the server is a P4-2.8 gig w/512 ECC Memory and extremely fast SCSI hard drives.
I broke the mirrored set several times (after waiting 12 hours each time), deleted/recreated the NW partition on drive 1. Each time I had the same results as mentioned above.
Any ideas what may be going wrong? Also, are the partitions numbered correctly?
BTW: the server works well on a single hard drive (drive 0).
Thanks.

time to mirror is relative to the amount of data and size of the drive(s)
Double check you scsi settings since with u320 I would expect faster performance. I would suspect your termination is wrong or the scsi card channel is not set to u160 which is the max that card supports [no u320]
