Just got a spare box, Compaq Deskpro, Pentium2/450/10GB/128MB.
Just wondering, is there a specific IDE driver for Compaqs IDE controller ? or should I just stick to the IDE DSK that came with 3.12 ?Also, is there an easier way to bridge the two internal LAN card with TCP/IP ? the old server runs on 2 LAN card, but only the segment on the first LAN card can access and share the ISDN router, any PCs connected to the second LAN card, can do everything else, except for internet access, the total cable length would exceed the max length if I try to combine the 2 segments into one, so I am hoping to be able to install TCP/IP (or similar) so the two LAN cards can communicate , hence all PCs on the network can have access to the ISDN router via TCP/IP.
Thanks

It's been a long time since I worked with NW 3.x. However you can use the novell ide drivers. I believe there are three of them, try each. Isadsk.dsk, ideata.dsk????????

Whoa beware the ide.dsk that shipped with 3.12 - download that later version as the original one only supports small HDD's (cant remember the limit at this mo').
Total lan length exceeded if you combine the segments - no something doesnt sound right - explain a little more please ...
