Hardware: Compaq Proliant 800 with PII 350MHz and 128MB of RAM, one SCSI2 HDD 9 GB. OS: Netware 3.12 + 3.2enh pack, patched up to date. Problems: 2 to 5 daily abends (various abends) on weekdays only.
Changed the whole hardware with a Compaq Proliant ML350 G2 1GHz with 128 MB of RAM and one SCSI3 HDD 18GB. Netware installed from different media than the old one. Tested this new server at a different location than the server will be installed. No problems. As soon as I sent the server and after was installed on the network it belongs to...guess what ??? Multiple abends...Every weekday at least one.
Every other server on that network works fine - 4.11s and 3.12s for a total of 27 servers.
Could this be a bad NIC in one of the workstations logging into this server ? Can't think of anything else now... Thanx in advance for any help...

We had a problem with abends recetly on a dual processor system and it looks like one of the processers got unseated. When we went to a single processor, we didn't have abends anymore. It's a longshot, but would explain why it worked for you and then had problems after it was shipped.
