Need to assign ASP.NET permission

Please excuse my vast lack of knowledge when it comes to NetWare. I'm in the process of rebuilding our companies systems using ASP.NET and we are running on a NetWare 5.19 platform. Again, I know virtually nothing about Netware and we don't have any kind of dedicated network person, so thanks for you patience.
The problem that I am having is I need to allow ASP.NET to write a text file to our network share. I have no problems writing this file with the UNC, but I lack success when I try with the drive letter. Which leads me to believe that there is a lack of permissions for the ASP.NET or web server user.
I don't know if there is even an ASP.NET user or what permissions/name would be required to allow this function to perform successfully. If someone could assist me or point me in a positive direction, I would certainly appreciate it. Thank you.

I can't really understand what you're trying to accomplish here but I'll try to help anyway.
If you can write the file using a UNC path then it's not a permission/rights problem.
I'd create a user in Netware for the ASP.NET server and assign the rights that you want. Then use that login at the ASP.NET server to write to your drive letter.
You'll probably have better luck resolving this issue on the novell support forums. Visit www.novell.com and have a look.
