Hi

I need some input on MSDSS. I haven’t used it before, and need to know if it can do what I want.

I have one AD with about 1500 users in the main office. I also have 10 sub-offices using NDS that will be linked up to the main office, and all users need to be in AD.

Can MSDSS let me synchronize NDS and AD so that each sub-office only gets the users in that office synchronized? I don’t want all sub-offices to have a total of 2000 users in NDS…

On a MS page it says:
“Granular Scope Of Synchronization. Synchronization can be rooted at any container in the tree.”

Does this mean that if I migrate each sub-office into a separate organizational unit in AD, then MSDSS can do 10 different synchronizations to each of the 10 sub-offices?

Thanks a lot
-Terry
