I am currently designing and implementating of a piece of software that is capable of designing an NDS Tree according to Novell's tree design principles. It will do this by taking input from the user regarding the layout of the network and the number of users/departments at different locations. A non-functioning user interface prototype has been produced. This prototype is to be tested by target-users for the software (not just those with NDS tree design expertise). It should be stressed that at this stage the prototype does not yet produce an NDS Tree design, but has merely implemented the interface needed to collect the necessary information.
