Hi, I recently purchased a Dell Poweredge server for my home network. I have five computers in my house. I am wondering, what is the best way to name a "family" server. What should I name the tree, organization, etc? Also, should I use organizational units? I have five kids, but I want two of my older children to have more access rights. Should they be in a separate context? Thank you very much. I appreciate any suggestions.

I have a 5.1 server with 4 PCs.
I named mine "homeserv" but really you can name it anything since you only have one. Noirally you would name the server by location and/or dept then either prod or test for obs reasons.

as far as the tree, i run a business ou tof my home so i called it "CTBE_TREE". What ever you name it put "_TREE" on the end.

I only have one branch the O=CTBE (that is why i put "_TREE" at the end to tell them apart) and everything under that. there is really no reason to make any more OUs, your network does not need them. Make it easy for yourself keep it simple
