Hello,
On our network we have some workstations that are being shared by several users. The workstations are installed with Win2000 and NWclient 4.8.3. We have decided not to run the ZENworks database anymore cause it has been giving too much problems. So the NWclient has been installed without any extras such as ZENworks, workstation manager etc.
As the situation is today I have to manually setup a local user account for each user using the workstation, so they can get their own desktop settings etc. This is kind of stressing when there are many users on one workstation, so I was hoping that any sharp-eye out there could give me a soloution on how to have the local user account automatically created when a user logs on to the workstation...I found out that I could install the NWclient with ZENworks and then again after installation, remove the ZENworks service and it would automatically create local user accounts for each user login in. BUT, then I saw that the quick-launch etc was gone (and there was no chanse whatsoever to get it back) and the machine was unable to save the user profile when logging off.
Any ideas?

what ZEN problems are you having? i'd hazard a guess and say that you're using ver 2. Up the user rights to admin and the problems will more than likely go away...
