I have a Cisco router for Internet connection and one other IBM router (old) for one internal remote site connection (different IP subnet).... But If I define the Internet Gateway I can NOT see the computers into my remote place
I have already defined the address of each Gateway, but Windows XP only work with the first one.....
How I can have simultaneous the 2 Gateways in Windows XP ????

Here is a small Example:
Your IP Subnet is 192.168.1.0
Your internal Remotesite is 192.168.2.0
The internal IP if your IBM Router is 192.168.1.254 and the internal IP of your CISCO Router is 192.168.1.250.Delete all Gateways from your IP Settings in Windows XP and set only the DEFAULT GATEWAY to 192.168.1.250 (CISCO).
In the Windows XP Commandline TYPE:
Route Add 192.168.2.0 MASK 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.254 /P
This must be set to each Host of your LAN that must reach the Remote Network. Make sure, that all Computers in your Remote Network can reach the 192.168.1.0 Network (Set the default Gateway of all PC's in your Remote Network to the Remote IP of your IBM Router EX: 192.168.2.254).
If there are to many Workstations into your LAN to define all Routes manually, i would prefer the following way.
Define a static Network Route in the CISCO Configuration. EX: 192.168.2.0 SUBNET MASK 255.255.255.0 Gateway 192.168.1.254 and set only the default Gateway to all Hosts.Thats all.
good happens
