What???!!?? This is the Novell Netware forum, so perhaps you're asking how to restore the file from backup???? If so then you'd need to give more details. Alternatively, if it's just the MSPAINT.exe file you want then get it off of a Windows CD.

i too stupidly have deleted or just lost paint, and solitaire, and all those ganes. My computer is messed up, but all i really want is paint, if anyone knows how to get paint back, like a download or anything, please email me, thanx.

Alright, I thought I was the only stupid one..I have also lost paint, wordpad, and msgames. What happened, I don't know. I also do not have the cd...Is there any other way?

I now have mspaint.exe thanks to stefen.
but when i try to open a bmp file windows cant find mspaint.exe. When i try to locate it i just get files not the program. Where do i place mspaint so windows can use it and open bmp.Please mail me!

cropping probs huh??? Do this: Copy (select and copy) the whole image paste into new mspaint doc and then resize. it no longer crops, just resizes.

Of course, there are loads of freeware image editors floating around. Go to (eg) www.webattack.com which lists loads of free software.

My problem is this - I had to reinstall windows, and although MSpaint is there, it no longer recognises jpegs or gifs. Photoshop, IE etc. have no similar problems, does anyone have any ideas ?

jesus you crackheads, what is up with your obsession with mspaint?! it sucks anyway! go to http://eye.box.sk to download free image editors for cryin out loud. and quit wondering why mspaint sucks. its made by MICROSOFT. hence the ms. good enough explanation?

I have the same problem! My mspaint can't open or save jpg,gif,jpeg etc after i reinstalled win98. Please help me 'coz i need mspaint badly? Why? Because u can verry easily resize pics!!!! Just click and drag.... Can u do that in Paint Shop Pro , Adobe photoshop or other progrems? No. At least not that easy. So someone please help me. If u know any other program that can resize pics as easily as paint or how to "fix" paint please email me!!! I have to resize about 300 pics/day so i NEED IT!!!!!
