On start up I get a message the states,"
"Microsoft Workgroups ODI/NDIS3 MAPPER VERSION 2.0
Error: Cannot find LSL
ODI/NDIS3 MAPPER: INITIALIZATION FAILURE
Any suggestions how I might solve this problem?I an running Windows 95 on a Dell Latitude CPX.

I don't know why you are using the NDIS drivers to attach to a Novell network. You should be using the Novell client with either the VLMs or the newer 32bit client for DOS/Windows 3.x. I suspect that if you configure this way, and delete the NDIS driver, your problem will go away. See Novell's site for the client software. You will still need the NIC driver disk for the NIC card you have installed, specifically for Novell networks.

So this is a driver for the Novell network? I have encountered this identical error, but the computer is NOT on a Novell network (or any network for that matter) and does not have a NIC card, but a 56K modem. The OS is Windows 98.
What do I need to delete to make it go away?
Is it still a NDIS driver delete to make it go away?
I am sorry if this is a stupid question, but I just want to make sure before I delete something.

Bitte senden Sie mir per E-Mail diese software ODI/NDS3 Mapper. Weil meine PC hat solche fehler , ich kann nicht reparieren.

boot into safemode and remove all drivers in device manager under network adapters and restart the system.

We've got the same problem. Get the evil message that says: "Microsoft Workgroups ODI/NDIS3 MAPPER VERSION 2.0
Error: Cannot find LSL
ODI/NDIS3 MAPPER: INITIALIZATION FAILURE
Any suggestions how I might solve this problem?
We are running Windows 98 on a Compaq PresarioIt says press any key to continue then will not boot into Windows -- SOMETIMES -- and sometimes it will.
We are connected to the internet with a cable modem and network and all this happened after trying to get the computer to see the router (and now it is connecting passively through the router, but we cannot configure it to see the other computers.) Any suggestions appreciated. Did deleting all the drivers work for anybody?

For RESPONSE NUMBER 5, That does work, now my other problem is; I have tryed to update my printer package and at the end of the installation I receive a message stating I have a problem in my MMSYSTEM.DLL which seems to stop at the destination of the toolbox for my printer and will not let me use my printer. My printer is a HP Deskjet 722C. Any help appreciated. Please reply.

At startup I am getting the same message as the others:
Microsoft WorkGroups ODI/NDIS3 Mapper Version 2.0 Error:Cannot find LSL
ODI/NDIS3 Mapper: Initialization Failure
I would have to press my spacebar or any key for it to continue
I am running Win 98 on a Hewlett Packard M70
What should I do? Help?Another question
My computer is running slower than usual. What do I do? and I did a disk cleanup. But it didn't improve. Help!

I am getting the same message:
Microsoft WorkGroups ODI/NDIS3 Mapper Version 2.0
Error:Cannot find LSL
ODI/NDIS3 Mapper: Initialization FailureOn a Packard Bell Pulsar 600, running Windows 98.
I tried to delete the drivers from network adapters in safe mode, but the pc got stuck in a loop when trying to load windows.
I ended up booting to command prompt only and running setup from C:\WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS.

When booting up I get the follwoing message:
