I wrote about this messsage a few weeks ago, but I have another qestion concerning it. Every so often, at random times throughtout the day I get a message on my server monitor that states, "Insuffient disk space on volume sys prevented a newly decompressed file from being commited to disk in its decompressed format when the file was closed." I can preety much tell that this is saying that there is not enough space on my drive, but what I don't understand is that there is still 366 MB of free space left on my drive (I will be upgrading soon to a higher capacity SCSI drive) and the data that is saved to the drive is small. I did recently try to install a 3Com driver for a new NIC, and someone told me that loading all of those drivers that are compressed in Novell Netware are probably now decompressed and that is what is causing this messagel. Any ideas on why this message would show, even if there is still free space on the hardrive. I didn't start showing this message until after I tried to install the 3Com driver, before that it was fine

Try running a PURGE on the SYS volume and all it's subdirectories.

You probably have some kind of fail safe that keeps the volume from filling up and crashing, so running a purge would free up enough space to save the documents.
