MEM_BAD_POINTER error message

When trying to install and setup printers with Novell in NWadmin I get this message. It is usually after I have tried to find a printer with NPTWIN95 & have been unsuccessful that this message appears. Any help would be appreciated.

Error: "SmartHeap Library - Mem_bad_pointer"

Error: "This program performs an illegal operation and will be shut down."

The error happens upon workstation boot up.

Error: "NPTWIN95 caused an illegal page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL"

Same error occurs by exiting out of the NPRINTER manager after manually loading NPTWIN95.exe.


An older version of SH30W32.DLL dated 12/19/95 with size of 94720 bytes fixed the problem

I'm experiencing the same exact problem. I've also tried the older DLL. I even installed Novell's 3.31 client - their newest.

I'm having the same problem. Old DLL didn't make
any difference. Like Dennis, I even tried the
newest client. Anybody found anything for this?
