Is there a maximum hard drive size a disk can be under NW 4.2? I've installed a 100GB drive into a file server and after trying to merge the volumes to the current 65GB one, it came back with an error message "failed to modify volumes .. error Netware4.2-34".

According to the 4.2 documentation, up 32TB of disk space is supported. This does not mean that the particular device drivers that you are using support the drives you've installed, but I don't think that overall volume size is causing your problem.
Hope this helps

Netware supports 4 partitions. The manufacturer device partitions ex. the the F10 stuff for compaqs, the C:\ partion and then if you have two netware partitions on the old disk then you are SOL. You may have to invest in servermagic.
