The Login Script maps particular drives to certain directories for a small dos based proprietary program i use. i recently installed Windows XP . I have downloaded the novell client for xp and installed and can logon and run the program, but the xp machine sees the drives as if the the mapped directory was the top. This is a problem, because parts of the dos program are hard coded to look in certain places. How do I prevent XP (or Novell, if that's what's doing it) from seeing this as the top? Any ideas would be appreciated?

Try to add the following command:
DOS SET MAPROOTOFF="1" In the beginning of your system login. I think this will fix the problem.
