How do I map an NT share in a Novell Login Script I have tried the net use command but it tells me that I must be logged in first. Here is what I put in a test login script
#net use x:\\10.1.12.205\D

tried to install ethernet drivers into windows 95 system. now when i reboot, screen tells me i am missing c:\windows\lsl.com odi/ndis3 mapper. how can i get this file back.

If its an novell login script then you need to use novell mapping commands, not NT ones cos it wont recongnise it
Doh

a call to net use from the Novell Login Script cann't be executed.
call like
#c:\windows\net use P: \\servername\%USER%
You will get a message, you have to be loged on.
First I thought it to be a message from Novell, but the message comes from the Win98SE station.
I tried to use a batch file, call from end of Novell login script
EXIT "c:\windows\netuse.bat"
In case you put a 'pause in the batch file, before the command line:
c:\windows\net use p: \\servername or IP\shared_map
and you will wait until every thing else hass passed, before you place the mouse in the DOS window (in which the batch file is running) the command net use .... wil be caried out OK, but you activate the net use batch to quicle you will get the same message.
lovely fine Windows ;-(

my computer saya that i have a bad command (c:\>cwindows\lsl.com) what do i do to fix the problem? and the start and time and all of the other stuff that goes on the bottem of the scren is on the side of myscren how do i fix this problem?

Netware cannot use the 'net use' NT utility until it has authenticated to the domain. Therefore, you need to put the 'net use z: \\server\share' command after the domain authentication point. I build a batch file for the command and point the domain account at it in the 'Profile', 'logon script name'. You can also point a Zen policy to a net use batch file as Zen policies run after the domain authentication.
