Mapping Novell drives with WINXP

Is there a chance that WINXP on startup automatic map directories of remote host that running Novell Netware with a condition that WinXP don't have installed Nowel client? thanks

Without installed Novell client (from Microsoft or from Novell) WinXP don't see Novell server resource.

Try researching CIFS on the Novell website. If you are using Netware 6 or above, you do not need the Novell client to map drives to the server. Netware will happily pretend to be a windows server.

NetWare servers can support cifs and afp giving access for windows users, mac users and unix users. The only thing you should take care of, is enabling this feature on the volume you want to share this way. If, for example, you have VOL1 and enabled it to support cifs you can find this volume published as VOL1_w for cifs access.
