I am trying to map a drive to a users Home directory, so that when any user logs onto a particular PC, he/she will see their directory. I can map it to the folder that contains their directory, but not to the directory itself e.g.:
\\Servername\VOL1\anotherfolder\
What I would like to know, is there a variable I can use at the end to force it to open any users home directory e.g. %Username%
We have our login script saying MAP ROOT (drive):=%HOME_DIRECTORY; this allows students & faculty to access their home directory wherever they can log in to the network
