Lost Interrupt, Novell 3.12

Comment:
I have set up a new server using Novell 3.12. The Hardware is a HP Netserver 5 -133. I have loaded the disk driver DAC960.dsk with INT=F. The Lan driver is LNEPCI2.LAN with INT=A.
The system is up and running but I get the message "Primary Interrupt Controller detected a lost hardware interrupt"
Will this cause a problem and how do I fix the it to get rid of this message.

Hi, try to disable PnP in your BIOS. Assign static interrupts for each PCI slot. If you use an PnP LAN adapter then load the driver without th INT=A Parameter. It should work.

This is caused by a NIC configured to use an IRQ above 8. You can reconfigure the device to use IRQ less than 8. Or if the server is working fine, ignore the message and disable the display of the message by typing SET DISPLAY LOST INTERRUPT ALERTS = OFF SET DISPLAY SPURIOUS INTERRUPT ALERTS = OFF
