apply long filename support on youre server (long.nam)
you can ensure support for long filenames with all NetWare servers by adding this line to your system.ini:
[Nwredir] SupportLFN=2
OR by setting SupportLFN=2 in the following Register key: Hkey_local_machine\system\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\Nwredir

Yes you can.
Novell Netware 4.1 DOES support long file names. You need to "Add name space to the volume" for example on volume sys:
load long && only needed to install add name space long to sys
Then you're done. volume will be upgraded to have long name support. next time volume mounts it will automatically load long and you'll have what you want.

We want to have longe name all things is correct we use long.nam and etc but Novell shell dose'nt let us to have longe names befor runinig windows in workstation It is very important to have long name with VLM befor runinig windows

I am a "novice" to Netware. Transitioned from Linux/Unix. So, first of all, excuse me for some dumb questions in Netware.
