Hello everyone. I need to find out how to install long file names support in a
Netware 4.11 server volumes. Can you install long file names when the
volume is already created or do you have to destroy the volume?
Please, if anyone know how to proceed, i apreciate the info. Thanks for your help.

LFN support can be done after the NW Volume is created. Here are the steps.

1. Load long.nam
2. At the console prompt, Add Name Space Long To Volume
3. Place "Load Long" in the startup.ncf file.

Each volume parameter must be set for every volume on which you want long names supported.

Followup: step # 2 should end with - Add Name Space Long To Volume "volumename" (w/out the quote marks and of course the name of the volume you want LFN support on).
