I changed my novell client from 3.8 to 4.9 every thing is ok but when I want to login I login to novell and comes pop window I am not able to check the box to make the password of window match the novell(the box alwas in gray) so what I did wrong in the old version it was ok

It seems like there is a problem of password sinchronization between your NDS and AD password (asuming your workstation is login into a domain). Make sure that the password is the same in both places
