I have been experiencing an intermittent boot error on my 2000 machine. Thus far, a reboot solves it, but who knows what will happen down the road.
The message is:
"The logon user interface NWGINA.DLL failed to load. Replace or restore original DLL."

Are you running Netware Client 4.7.x? If so I would suggest that you go to 4.8.3. By any chance are you using Cisco's Aironet Client Utility (ACU) on this 2K box?

You might want to check to see that the .dll file is where it belongs. On a Win 2K box it should be located in C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\nwgina.dll. If it is already there you could rename nwgina.dll and either copy it from another Win 2K machine, or remove the NW Client and reinstall. It could very well be that the nwgina.dll is corrupt.
