Is it possible to connect to a netware 4.2 LAN at the office from your home using a modem? We have a LAN at the office but it would be real nice if I could do some simple work at home using my own pc. All I need is being able to access the network drives. The slow speed doesn't matter.

You can access you network with a RAS solution or a terminal server solution. Novell had a solution called NetWare Connect, that was a terminal server and RAS solution. I donīt know if Novell have this solution yet. You can install a Win NT/2000 RAS with IP/IPX routing to receive the calls. Also you can use Windows NT Terminal Server or Windows 2000 Terminal Server solution with Novell Client installed to emulate a Windows terminal and access the network. The last option is very fast and you can increase security using Citrix/Metaframe solution.
