I'm trying to help a relative with a problem on his computer at work. The problem is that when he clicks on a link in his email program (Novell Groupwise, I think), nothing happens. To get the link to work, he must right-click and then select open. But what's weird is that this only happens in emails that don't have the same email domain as he has. This only occurs in this email program and doesn't occur within internet explorer. No one else at the workplace has this problem with Groupwise. Another problem is that he doesn't have administrator privileges for this computer (XP Professional) so he may have trouble fixing whatever the problem is. The computer tech person has admin privlileges but is very unexperienced in computer issues and doesn't understand this problem when it was both explained and shown to him. So I doubt he'll be of any help when it comes to fixing it. Any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix it? One last thing that may be important is that this computer keeps getting trojans. One of them may have caused this problem. But we're in the process of cleaning those nasty things out of there. lol
