I am running a network with a Novell Netware 5.1 Server and have DHCP enabled. I recently started upgrading my workstations to XP. The PCs are Dell Latitude C600 and Dell Optiplex GX150. The very strange thing is that if the IP address assigned by the DHCP server is an even number (i.e 10.10.10.10) everything is fine and the network works perfect. But if the IP is an odd number (i.e. 10.10.10.11) then when I send something to the server from the pc no problem, but when I try to download or copy something from the network or the server it is very slow and hangs the system for a long time. I know to me it sounds crazy but maybe one of you has an idea. Thanks for any help.
