Internet clash with Novell login

I have a strange problem .when i am connecting internet from my pc (dialup conection)my network connection(LAN - Novell 4.11)is disconnecting and i am forced to login again .otherwise i willnot get the maped drives on the Novell server.as soon as the internet is connected the novell login screen will come if i cancelled the screen i will not get the f drive and all.i disabled the login to network option in internet connection but the same is happening .how can i solve this problem please help me

any firewall software installed? If so check its configuration as it seems to be protecting your local network when on the internet.

Go into Dial Up Networking and choose your dial up connection. Bring up properties and on one the tabs you can select the protocols to use on the dial up. deselct IPX and Netbeui, leaving only TCP/IP.
