How can I configure IE 5.x or Netscape 4.x browsers for Internet browsing in NetWare SBS 5.0 or Netware 5.x? I am able to configure the Server through NICE/iNETcfg to connect to my ISP; but when I tried to browse from clients the browsers are not connecting to the Internet. I am getting 'File Not Found' error message, whereas Clients Server communication is working fine in both IPX as well as IP. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi, try to set a Gateway address in the ip configuration of the workstation. Example: if Servers IP address is 131.107.1.1 use this address as gateway for the workstation. It should work.

I set up SBS 5 before like that. You will find more info in support.novell.com. I think you must disable ip filtering or some sort. try typing unload ipflt. By the way, what is your connection? DSL? If that's the case, novell has good documentation about it. Type dsl in support.novell.com

How did you configure your server? BorderManager? One NIC or two? Is your browsers proxy setting filled in with the servers ip? Do you have a DNS server configured in INETCFG? Can you ping your ISPs IP? If using border manager, are Rules enabled? If so, have you set any 'allow' rules?
