Increase Volume Size on Netware 3.12 Ser

Comment:
I need to install a larger drive on a Netware 3.12 server. The first attempt to mirror the existing drive was unsuccessful because they were of different sizes. I then partitioned the new drive to be of the same size as the old one. Mirror went fine but now I can't seem to increase the Netware partition or add a volume segment to increase the available drive space even though there's LOTS of available space. How do I do this?

Prior to NetWare 5.x, only ONE NetWare partition may exist per logical/physical drive.
In addition, when mirroring two NetWare paritions, they must be identical sizes. This means if you have a 4GB drive and a 6GB drive with a 3GB NetWare partition on the 4GB drive - if you want to mirror the 3GB NetWare partition, you will need to create a 3GB NetWare paritition on the 6GB drive - thus you will lose 3GB of space on the 6GB drive.
You will need to add more physical drives (2 to complete the mirror) - create and mirror NetWare partitions on them and then add volume space on the new mirrored NetWare partition to your existing NetWare volumes.
