Hi there,

I am totally new to Netware world. However, our client wanted us to inventory Netware server remotely. The data we need to collect might be something like CPU flags such as core numbers and hyperthread enabled. It seems that the APIs for server mannagement are not powerful enough for our requirement. I actually know that some console commands can provide much helpful information. Can any body tell me how I can read the output of those console command inside C code? Meanwhile, I also want to know if the cross-platform APIs of clib can be applied to both NLM and client allication(Windows EXE) for I failed to link the functions declared by the head files in clib\include\nlm folder while building application in Visual Studio.
Thanks in advance,

-Michael

iMonitor, the browser based server monitoring software from Novell, has everything you could possibly want to monitor - and it does reports. This from Novell documentation:

Creating a Custom Report
Custom reports let you launch any iMonitor page as a report.

In iMonitor, click Reports > Report Config.

Click on the Custom Reports line in the Runable Report list.

Enter a name for the report > Enter the URL to the iMonitor page you want to launch as a report.

Specify the number of versions of the report you want to keep.

(Optional) Click Save to save the report.

Click Run Report to start the report.

(Optional) Configure the report to run on either a periodic basis or at a later time.

Specify a frequency, start time, and start day.

Click Schedule.
