I have very basic knowledge of Novell products. I need to backup a volume from a Netware 5 server to a compaq DLT that is attached to a Netware 4.1 server. Any help, step by step instruction, software to use on how to accomplish this, will be much appriciated. Thanks

Go through the following steps:
1. Load the controller and storage device drivers on the server. 2. Load the TSAs on a server, workstations, or both. 3.Load the backup engine on the server or the workstation.i.e. SBCON
If you are not much aware of these things, my humble recommendation will benot to meddle with the data. If you do things wrongly, it might affect your Server.
