How do I clear the last user who login through Netware Client? I'm using client vers. 4.80 on Windows 2000. I have a couple of computers that are for general use and need to clear the "Username" fields in both the initial client screen and the Advanced section under Windows 2000. Thanks. CT

Have you installed ZEN ? then you should be able to clear the username fiels when you attach a user policy profile to the users that use youre general stations. We use Novell 5 with WIN98 workstations and with us it works I don't know for sure if it works for WIN2000.

Try clearing the "Save profile after successful login" box in the Novell client properties. Kind of hard to get to: Right click My Network Places, choose properties. Right click Local Area Connection, choose properties. Double click Novell Client for Windows 2000. Click the Location Profiles tab. Double click "Default" in the "Location Profiles" box. Click the Properties... button. Deselect the check mark in "Save profile after successful login" box. Clear the user name in the Username field. Click the WindowsNT/2000 tab. Clear the user name in the "Local username" field. Click OK. The Username should be blank for both fields each time the machine is rebooted now. Let me know if this works for you. Thanx Toddro
