Ok, I was having lock up problems, but they were really wierd becuase it happened mostly with internet explorer. So I thought it might be the ram, but since I didn't quite know how to make it lock itself up, I wasnt sure how to tell if the ram was bad, even if I took a chip out. Anybody know a way to test ram or something?

hi,

hope not too late.
i also have similar problem with u, got intermittent, unpredictable and random error (esp when using IE and then followed by other application, such as Windows explorer, etc).
i also suspect because of bad RAM (after suspecting other things :))
and i test my RAM with free software : memtest (search it in google : memtest) and got some errors in my RAM !

maybe u can try this software.

rgds,
ari
